Welcome to the community of off-road motorcycle riders who want to preserve the right to fun, safe and legal riding at the Thomaston Dam.
The Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments is planning to put a greenway through the heart of our trail system. We must stand up and defend the ONLY LEGAL riding area in Connecticut.
Who We Are
We are fathers, sons, mothers, and daughters who enjoy off-road motorized recreation. We are hundreds of motorcyclists who visit the Army Corps of Engineers’ Thomaston Dam trails during every week of the the seven-month riding season. We are volunteers who give nearly 1,000 hours of our time every year to keep the trails clean, safe, and fun for all users.
We are a group that will fight to keep the Thomaston Dam dirt bike trails intact for years to come. We are not absolutely against the Naugatuck River Greenway but we will fight to influence the Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments to recommend one of the many options for the greenway route that avoids our trails.
We wish to partner with local residents, businesses, riders, and local government in this effort.
